The role
As a Senior Support Engineer for our Data Platform, Snowflake and Matillion, you will be a key part of the St. James’s Place infrastructure team. You’ll be working to support the technology and processes used to deliver and support the SJP Data Platform technologies, specialising in Snowflake, Matillion or a combination.
You will be responsible for ensuring the platform is maintained in line with provider recommendations to ensure a highly resilient service is available to our community. Resolving incidents, proactive monitoring and associated actions to deliver such a service. It also ensures that policies are adhered to and that the necessary support processes are in place to enforce IT controls, such as access management, recoverability testing, and compliance requirements.
We are a cloud first organisation and make extensive use of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS solutions. You’ll be staying ahead of key developments and continuously committing to improvements through automation and performance tuning methods.
