Estates Director

Director of Estates Hamilton Barber Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a highly respected not-for-profit organisation to recruit a strategic, hands-on leader to join the Executive Team as Director of Estates. This is a key leadership role covering estates development, facilities management, procurement, health & safety, and IT infrastructure across its portfolio. The Role As Director of Estates, you will provide both strategic direction and operational oversight of the organisation’s property portfolio. You will lead capital projects, ensure homes are compliant and well-maintained, and manage relationships with suppliers and contractors. Working closely with the Chief Executive and Executive Team, you will help shape a safe, efficient, and future-proof environment. Key Responsibilities for the Director of Estates

• Develop and implement a long-term estates and asset management strategy.
• Oversee acquisition, refurbishment, and development projects across multiple sites.
• Lead a maintenance team and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage procurement processes and contracts, including catering and utilities.
• Act as the lead contact for external IT providers and infrastructure planning.
