What You’ll Do :
Teach, train, and assess learners in practical and classroom-based environments
Deliver engaging sessions tailored to a prison education setting
Support learners in achieving their full potential, often for the first time in their lives
Lead on designated programmes, helping shape their design, delivery, and evaluation

About You

What We’re Looking For :
A highly organised and creative individual who can plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons
Someone with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of learners
Confidence in managing a classroom , even in a unique setting like a secure establishment
A positive, empathetic approach to working with learners who may face significant personal challenges
The ability to assess and track learner progress , using this to plan meaningful intervention and support
Your Teaching Role :
Deliver a range of vocational study programmes , from Level 1 to Level 3
Motivate and inspire learners to achieve qualifications and gain confidence
Create a learning environment that reflects real-world construction standards and expectations
Contribute to the design, delivery and continual improvement of the curriculum
Ideal Candidate :
You might already have teaching experience – but if not, don’t worry
Experience in delivering training on-site or mentoring junior colleagues is highly valuable

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. A ll candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Employees can move up the salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete, subject to approval. Therefore, internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
