The Role, We have an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line Engineer to become an integral member of a dynamic & highly skilled engineering team. The team shares responsibility for maintaining customer systems, resolving day to day issues with the client’s customers’ ICT. Responsibilities :
- Build, install and maintain customer’s ICT systems to the highest levels of performance.
- Record all hardware / software concerns raised by clients immediately.
- Maintain and promote a high level of professional behaviour and customer care.
- Be an ambassador of the Company by maintaining positive communications with all internal and external contacts.
- Maintain and improve technical skills and qualifications as may be appropriate through Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Maximising business opportunities and securing profitable growth for the company.
- Comply with and promote vendor best practise and our business processes.
- Contribute to the development of junior team members.
- Continually review the performance and efficiency of ICO business processes
- Review the performance and efficiency of ICO’s solution stack (products and services Skills Required :
- Experience working as a 3rd Line Support Engineer in a similar role.
- Proficient in installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
- Installation, configuration, and administration of MS cloud technologies (O365 and Azure).
- Knowledge of LAN & WAN networking technologies (preference for Cisco and Draytek routers, HP switches, Watchguard firewalls)
- Knowledge of device, network, and internet security.
- Knowledge of HP Server hardware.
- Microsoft & other vendor certifications would be advantageous.
- Excellent telephone manner and face to face interpersonal skills
- Good literacy skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Possess a driving licence This is an office based role
