Position : Technician

Department : Extrusion Blow Moulding Operation

Reporting to : Engineering Manager

Shifts : 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) | Day Shift : 7 AM - 7 PM | Night Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM

Salary : £39,000+ (Salary negotiable depending on experience)

Objective : Nexus Packaging Limited manufacture HDPE (plastic) containers for chemicals. To assist the engineers in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment and machinery during assigned shifts at Nexus Packaging Ltd's new extrusion blow moulding operation. The Technician will be responsible for assisting the engineer and leading in their absence when it comes to troubleshooting, quick response to breakdowns, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the production of chemical containers / bottles. Opportunity for extra training and qualifications will be available throughout the technician's time at Nexus.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

1.   Equipment and Machinery Management :

Monitor the performance of all machinery and equipment on the production floor, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency by making mechanical alterations and also altering process parameters.
