6 Month Contract

35 Hours per Week

22.92 to £24.38 per hour LTD / £19.67 to £20.92 per hour PAYE (inc holiday)

Are you an experienced Repairs or Maintenance Planner with strong team leadership skills? A leading Housing Association in Manchester is recruiting a Repairs Planning Team Leader to manage and coordinate a fast-paced property maintenance scheduling team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in housing repairs, scheduler team management or property services coordination.

THE ROLE

As the Planning Team Leader, you will lead a team of Planners and Administrators, ensuring the effective scheduling of repairs, voids and M&E services. You will be responsible for team performance, operational support, and continuous service improvement within a busy Property Care department.

  • Supervise and support planners, scheduling assistants and compliance staff
  • Ensure optimal scheduling of responsive repairs, void maintenance and M&E tasks
  • Handle escalated customer queries, ensuring high standards of customer service
  • Oversee ordering and processing of repairs materials and parts
  • Maintain accurate repair and compliance records using housing and scheduling systems
  • Manage contractor coordination, invoicing and job cost tracking
  • Contribute to performance reporting and help drive service delivery improvements

THE CANDIDATE

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in a Repairs Planner , Maintenance Scheduler , or Housing Repairs Team Leader role. You must have the ability to lead a team, coordinate workloads and maintain service efficiency within a housing or property maintenance environment.

  • Previous experience managing or leading a planning / scheduling team in housing repairs
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of housing repairs types, priorities and response times
  • Experience using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Customer-focused with experience managing complaints and service standards
  • THE CONTRACT

  • 6 Month Temporary Contract
  • 35 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm)
  • 22.92 to £24.38 per hour LTD company rate
  • 19.67 to £20.92 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
