Designer – Women Footwear Location : Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote) Salary : Up to £45,000 About the Role A well-established British fashion retailer, known for its stylish and trend-driven collections, is seeking a creative and motivated Designer to support their footwear team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic design studio, contributing to the development of seasonal ranges including handbags and lifestyle accessories. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of women's footwear collections with a strong commercial focus Conduct market research and gather trend intelligence, including shop reports, to support the wider design and buying teams Show a strong understanding of the brand's identity, aesthetic, and target customer Stay up to date with both premium and high street fashion trends, and translate them into brand-relevant ideas Collaborate on the creation of unique branding and hardware concepts that reinforce the brand’s signature look Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers Present creative ideas clearly and confidently to the team Offer trend insights and inspiration that help shape upcoming collections Bring enthusiasm and proactive thinking to the team, contributing fresh ideas Manage your workload efficiently and flexibly, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience & Skills Commercial experience in a footwear design environment A strong, versatile portfolio demonstrating creative vision and technical competency Degree-level education in Fashion, Footwear, or Accessories Design High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with solid digital drawing and CAD skills Confident in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint for presentations
