Job description

Our client, a world leading crypto market-making firm, is searching for a Senior / Founding Solana Engineer to join their cutting-edge blockchain development team who are known for its high-performance trading infrastructure and deep technical expertise. They are actively developing next-generation decentralised finance (DeFi) platforms, with a strong focus on Solana-based derivatives and trading protocols.

Role Overview

As a Senior Solana Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing smart contracts and backend systems that power a high-throughput, low-latency decentralized exchange. You'll collaborate closely with a team of experienced engineers to push the boundaries of what's possible on-chain.

What You'll Do

Smart Contract Engineering : Architect and deploy robust, scalable smart contracts on the Solana blockchain.
System Design : Lead the development of core exchange components, ensuring seamless integration across the stack.
Performance Tuning : Enhance both on-chain and off-chain systems to deliver a fast and responsive user experience.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years working with Rust.

Demonstrated success in building and deploying Solana programs in a production environment.

Solid grasp of decentralized finance concepts, trading mechanics, and leveraged products.

Self-starter with a passion for innovation in blockchain infrastructure.

Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

Experience with Solana runtime internals and performance profiling.

Background in building or contributing to decentralized derivatives platforms.
