Car Mechanic

JOB TITLE : Car & Van Mechanic LOCATION : Teesport TEXO Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client, a respected operator within the UK logistics and infrastructure sector, in the recruitment of a Car & Van Mechanic, based at Teesport on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team within a nationally recognised business committed to operational excellence, safety, and employee development. Job Purpose : As a Fleet Tradesperson, you’ll be responsible for the service, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a range of fleet assets, including :

• Electric and diesel cars and light commercial vans
• Electric and diesel UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles)
• Diesel Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) – training will be provided if required Working both in the workshop and on-site as needed, you’ll respond to vehicle breakdowns, carry out preventative maintenance, and ensure assets are maintained to the highest operational and safety standards. Knowledge of EV systems is advantageous; however, training will be provided where applicable. Skills, Qualifications & Experience :
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the car, van, or light commercial vehicle sector post-apprenticeship
