Senior Project Manager – Clinical Research

Location : London / Remote, UK

Department : Project Management – Expanded Access & Post-Approval Named Patient Programs (EAP / PA-NPP)

Job Type : Full-Time | Hybrid

Our client, a global leader in supporting access to investigational and post-approval medicines, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage impactful clinical research programs that help patients around the world.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the successful setup, implementation, and management of global Expanded Access Programs (EAPs) and Post-Approval Named Patient Programs (PA-NPPs). This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on patient access to life-saving therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of clinical programs, from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to internal SOPs, policies, and industry regulations.
  • Lead project planning and execution including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Guide, support, and manage project team members, including line management responsibilities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met, with oversight of documentation such as eTMF and CTMS.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal and contract support.
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of internal processes and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a health or science discipline).
  • 4+ years of project management or clinical research experience (CRO experience preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience monitoring and managing clinical trials or similar projects.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel up to 20%.
