Job Description
Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support the learning and well-being of children aged 4-16 years old. This role varies from working one-on-one with special educational needs children to being a classroom support as a whole, ensuring needs are met while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This is a rewarding role as a relationship is established between the student and the Teaching Assistant, and can lead to a long-term opportunity.
You Will : n \n
- Deliver and adapt learning activities for individuals and small groups with the guidance of a teacher

Support students with varying levels of SENDn \n
n \n
Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teachern \n
n \n
nProvide pastoral support and help students develop positive relationships and independent learning skillsn \n
The Ideal Candidate

Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting)n \n
n \n
Have a broad understanding of the education system.n \n
n \n
Understand safeguarding practices.n \n
n \n
Be capable of strong communication and have organisational skills.n \n
n \n
nWill be calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.n \n
