MS593 - Masonry Highways Maintenance Operative  Salary : £32,000 per annum basic + overtime opportunities  Location :  Sheffield  Overview : First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Masonry Highways Maintenance Operative on behalf of one of our clients. To carry out all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance works on street lighting assets / highway furniture. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the masonry structures on the highways, including pavements, kerbs, and bridges, ensuring they are safe and functional for public use. Your expertise will help prevent accidents, reduce long-term repair costs, and enhance the overall aesthetic of the community. By maintaining well-kept highways, you contribute to a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities :

• Performing masonry work including the installation and repair of kerbs and flags / blocked paving.
• Engaging in concreting tasks, ensuring a high standard of finish.
• Carrying out tarmacking works to maintain and improve road surface / footways.
• Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards.
