Earthstream are proud to be recruiting Controls Engineers for a leading industrial automation solutions provider ficusing on innovative projects across multiple industries

Job Role : Controls Engineer

Location : Telford or Daresbury

Salary : £45-55k. Car allowance of £6k, 5% pension, 25 days holidays + statutory days, Bupa healthcare and life cover.

As a Controls Engineer your remit will include :

Electrical / controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, Safety Requirements Specification, Single Line Diagram, Network Topology, Device Layout, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safety Block Diagram, etc.

Handover to the Hardware Design team and review of designs produced.

Software Design, including Software Design Specification and production of Software / Configuration deliverables for e.g PLC, HMI, SCADA, Robot, Drives etc. Factory Acceptance Testing, Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing.

What you will bring to the company :

Minimum HND / Foundation Degree / Level 5 Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics

Minimum of 3 years in a similar role Good understanding of control systems
