Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

What Are We Looking For?

Owing to continued sustainable growth, our Asset Management & Technical Services business platform is looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis, and work as part of our in-house, multidisciplinary design team. You will take on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus low on carbon solutions.

Some of Your Key Duties Include :

• Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implantation.
• Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.
• Develop design deliverables.
• Complete checking and approval processes.
• Arrange procurement of goods and services.
• Prepare work scope estimates / quotations.
• Assemble contract works information documents.
• Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
• Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.
• Implement project change control and programme requirements.
• Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
