Fast growing, UK banking group. Market leading cross border FX and payments firm seeking a VP- Operational Risk Manager. London based.

Job Description

The VP- Operational Risk Manager will :

  • Support the Head of Operational Risk in the independent oversight of Operational Risk across the Bank.
  • Enhance the Operational Risk Management Framework and its components (Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA), incidents, operational scenario analysis, etc.).
  • Provide oversight and challenge to RCSA's and risk assessments for new products / initiatives.
  • Standardise and communicate policies and procedures related to operational risk across the Bank.
  • Engage with the 1LoD to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Train and educate the 1LoD to embed the Operational Risk Management Policy.
  • Prepare risk committee and board papers, managing audit and control weaknesses.

    • The Successful Applicant

    Requirements include :

  • Professional qualification such as IOR, IRM, or equivalent.
  • Experience with FX, Payments, and Derivatives products.
  • Knowledge of UK financial services and regulatory frameworks.
  • Senior-level risk management experience.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks and other risk types.
  • Extensive Operational Risk knowledge.
