GIS Technician

• Investigation of datasets to recommend changes to improve data quality.'
• Data manipulation in Geographic Information Systems and other corporate systems.
• Updating datasets, following Business processes and procedures.
• Updates to non-geographic asset management systems
• Experience with database programming languages ideally Python
• Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite
• Experience in working with large datasets and in analyzing data quality
• Experience in working with python & GIS
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications
• Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues
