Junior Sous Chef – Private Members’ Club in Mayfair Salary : £42,000 + minimum

  • Location : Mayfair, London
  • Salary : £42,000 + £1,000 in tips minimum
  • Hours : 7 : 30am – 3 : 50pm, Tuesday to Saturday
  • Benefits : 23 days holiday + your birthday off, All bank holidays off, 2 full weeks off in August & over the Christmas / New Year period, Generous company benefits and a fantastic working environment

This is a rare opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef to step into a daytime role with a fantastic work-life balance – no evenings, Sundays or Mondays – while still working with premium ingredients and delivering elevated brasserie-style cuisine.

The Role :

  • Support the senior team across breakfast, staff meals, and classic brasserie-style service
  • Maintain a calm and organised kitchen environment
  • Help lead a small, dedicated team during busy service periods
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, prep, and presentation
  • About You :

  • Proven experience in a high-quality kitchen, ideally private member's club, with brasserie or hotel background
  • A passion for cooking and a professional, can-do attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to leadership
