The Futures Researcher will play a key role in producing accurate, relevant and up-to-date market insights while contributing to the platform’s content strategy. The position combines data-driven research, content creation, and internal collaboration to help traders better understand futures markets and to support Prop Firm Match Global FZCO’s overall strategic positioning.
Requirements
1. Generate futures market insights (starting Month 1; ongoing)
Monitor and analyze trends across key futures markets, including commodities, indices, and currencies.
Deliver 2–3 internal briefs per month outlining relevant market developments, macroeconomic drivers, and pricing anomalies.
Identify key global events that could impact trader behavior or platform content planning.
Provide research input to support internal strategy discussions, product positioning and content creation.
2. Create actionable, trader-focused content (ongoing; impact expected within 3 months)
Publish weekly market commentary, trend updates, and research-backed articles suitable for both novice and experienced traders.
Translate complex data into clear and useful insights that support confident decision-making.
Contribute to newsletters, special reports, and educational content that reflect the Prop Firm Match Global FZCO tone : neutral, factual, and informative.
3. Collaborate across teams to align research with platform goals (Ongoing; especially during planning cycles)
Work with product, content, and marketing teams to ensure research supports feature development and user journeys.
Join biweekly team syncs to deliver timely insights tied to ongoing projects.
Participate in internal sessions, AMAs, or webinars to share knowledge where relevant.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in market or economic research, ideally with a focus on futures
Deep understanding of financial instruments and macroeconomic frameworks
Strong analytical and written communication skills
Experience with Excel and tools such as Bloomberg, Seeking Alpha, or Morningstar.
Regular delivery of 2–3 insightful research briefs per month
Weekly publication of content that meets engagement goals
Demonstrated alignment with product and content teams’ needs
Positive feedback on clarity and usability of insights
Contributions to increased platform visibility and reputation (e.g., mentions, shares, search performance).
