Job Description

As a Sales Executive at Daisy Communications, you will be responsible for selling either telecommunications, energy or merchant services to small and medium-sized businesses. The exact product focus will depend on your skillset and your strengths. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who can confidently handle inbound and outbound sales calls, assess client needs, and close deals effectively. You will be joining a dynamic sales team with the opportunity to progress your career within a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Salary : £23,809.50 per annum + commission (OTE £35,000 - £40,000)

Location : London

Working Hours : Monday to Friday between 9 : 00 – 17 : 30 (37.5 hours)

Key responsibilities :

  • Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls with businesses, selling our products and services to B2B customers based on client needs.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with UK based SMEs to drive sales from initial contact to closing. You may be required to move between sales campaigns or sell additional products.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets while adhering to established strategies, call KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage CRM systems to effectively manage sales opportunities, track customer interactions, and maximise sales potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the sales support / operations team to ensure a seamless customer journey from sales to fulfilment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position products and services.
  • Accurately track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and account information.
  • Resolve queries within industry / department lead timescale.
  • If you are a Manager of staff, you must ensure :

Your team are aware of their security responsibilities & know how to access Daisy Group Security Policies hosted on the Intranet;

  • The principles listed with the Daisy Group Security Policy Statement document are embedded within the operations of your team.
  • Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience is desirable, ideally in Telecommunications, energy or merchant services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
  • Negotiation / objection handling skills.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Hardworking with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in a simple, effective manner.
  • Competency in using CRM systems and MS Office is highly desirable.
  • Self-confident with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times.
  • Goal oriented.
