Reporting into our Head of Computer Science, you'll play a key role in guiding students through core computing concepts and emerging technologies, providing an exceptional learning experience that’s both academically rigorous and industry relevant.

We welcome applicants from all areas of computing and are particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in software engineering, cyber security, networking , or artificial intelligence .

As our Computer Science Lecturer / Senior Lecturer , you will :

• Deliver high quality teaching and support for learning, including communication with other academics for the continuous improvement of teaching and student support
• Identify the need for developing the content, structure, assessment within modules with colleagues and make proposals on how this should be achieved.
• Contribute to effective design and review of inclusive learning. Maintain quality standards and regulations in curricular and assessment design.
• Routinely communicate complex and conceptual ideas to those with limited knowledge and understanding as well as to peers using high level skills
• Act as a module tutor, academic coach and sign-post students on pastoral aspects during their learning journey.

For Senior Lecturers you will have developed significant expertise in : Application and practical delivery of a range of teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring colleagues, assessments and marking, team leadership.
