13 HOURS PER WEEK

Are you interested in working for an award-winning social care charity?

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes—whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different needs, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioral support, while helping expand their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around each individual, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.

The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me

The people we support have diverse interests, hobbies, and dreams, just like us. They often lack opportunities to pursue these. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse. Personal Assistants at their best can truly bring out the best in those they support.

Let us introduce Colin :

Colin loves being outdoors, going for long walks (especially on those rare sunny days in Scotland), and staying active. A typical day might include trips to the shops for essentials, meeting peers at local clubs, or enjoying downtime activities like a foot spa, sensory activities, or photography. Colin receives support 7 days a week, usually between 9am and 10pm, including personal care and home maintenance.

That’s why Colin needs you! Will you bring your best so Colin can live his best life?

If you share these interests and have the commitment, dedication, and desire to support Colin in enjoying life to the fullest, please apply now! Enable values your support workers’ values and transferable skills. You don’t need previous care experience—join us, and together we can make a difference in what could be the most rewarding role of your life!
