As a Senior Care Assistant, you will :

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Support residents with personal care and emotional reassurance.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff to maintain best practice.
  • Liaise with families, GPs, nurses, and palliative care professionals.
  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing and promptly respond to changes.
  • Uphold dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times.

  • The ideal Senior Care Assistant will have :

  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in a senior carer or end-of-life / palliative care role.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care.
