Night-Time Customer Service Assistant - Sheffield

Hourly Rate : £13

Working Hours : 9pm – 6am, 1 shift per week, Monday to Sunday

We are seeking a Night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents, ensuring our site and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to residents by anticipating their needs, offering local information, and handling inquiries to create a seamless experience.
  • Greet and welcome students and guests warmly at front of house / reception.
  • Be available to answer questions and assist as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of communal areas during the night shift.
  • Ensure residents and guests respect the facilities.
  • Address issues or challenges proactively, providing solutions.
  • Conduct regular patrols every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on the building's condition.
  • Replenish refreshments and manage vending supplies.
  • Manage parcel storage for easy access by students.
  • Serve as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
  • Maintain waste management areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Candidate Profile : Experience :

  • Experienced in customer service, capable of delivering premium experiences.
  • Comfortable with cleaning tasks, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
  • Technologically savvy, familiar with relevant systems and software.
  • Personal Qualities :

  • Respectful of diverse cultures and backgrounds, promoting equality.
  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Organized, calm under pressure, adaptable, positive, and resilient.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with accommodations as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and religious celebrations, to ensure continuous resident service.
