Your role and responsibilities

In this role youll play a vital part in ensuring Suffolk County Council meets its legal obligations under DoLS legislation. Youll :

  • Oversee and support a small team of Business Support Officers.
  • Work closely with practitioners to ensure legal compliance and uphold individuals human rights.
  • Manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use your organisational skills and initiative to work autonomously while being a key part of a collaborative and supportive team.
  • Every day youll help ensure that individuals referred to us are treated with dignity and respect and that their voices are heard.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in line with statutory requirements.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for learning and developing within the role.
  • Strong IT skills as much of the work involves using internal systems.
