Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to deliver a diverse range of capital projects across a flagship contract in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Facilities Management service providers and take ownership of a strategic portfolio within a highly professional and forward-thinking team.
Youll be responsible for end-to-end project delivery from stakeholder management and programme planning to commercial control and final handover. This role covers a range of project types, including M&E upgrades, building fabric refurbishments, fit-outs, and ESG-led initiatives.
This is a key regional role offering genuine autonomy, influence, and long-term career progression, including the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated projects team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £1,000,000 across a diverse commercial estate.
- Manage the full lifecycle of works including design, planning, procurement, delivery, and close-out.
- Act as the key interface between the FM provider, client stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Provide strategic input on future project pipeline planning, budget forecasting, and risk management.
- Ensure projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and safety.
- Support and mentor junior PMs or site managers where applicable.
- Oversee a portfolio of works including :
- Mechanical & Electrical upgrades and replacements
- Building fabric repairs, fit-outs, and refurbishments
- ESG and Decarbonisation-led works
Candidate Profile
Proven track record of project delivery in a live environment, ideally within FM or building services.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills both internally and with client teams.Technically competent a background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines is preferred, though not essential.Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and supply chain performance.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different phases.Comfortable working in a site-based environment, with regional travel as required.Sound of Interest?
