Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 3 🌟Location : Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours : Term-time only, Monday-Friday, 11 : 15am-6 : 00pm

Salary : £25,035 - £25,454 (FTE) - Permanent

Start Date : September 2025

Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years professional? We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to support Reception-aged children during the school day and lead engaging activities in our After School Club.

What You'll Do :

• Support Reception class learning through small group and 1 : 1 activities
• Deliver phonics, literacy, numeracy, and creative sessions
• Use online journals (e.g. Tapestry) to track and support children's development
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities during After School Club hours

What You'll Need :

Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Diploma)

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

Experience with phonics schemes and online learning journals

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C / 4 or above)

A passion for early childhood education and teamwork

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
