Client Brief

Our client is a long-standing family-run manufacturer of shampoo and perfumes.

Key Information

  • Reason for vacancy : Increased demand
  • Basic pay : £12.21 per hour
  • Shifts : Monday to Thursday, 7am-5pm only
  • Overtime : Available on Fridays and Saturdays (optional), paid at 1.5x basic rate
  • Breaks : 20-minute early break and 20-minute late break per day, paid in full
  • Holidays : Accrual basis

    Responsibilities

    The Role

    As a Packing Operative, you will support the packing of shampoo and perfumes created at the site, ensuring attention to detail in all tasks. You will work in teams of 7, led by a team leader, performing tasks such as filling, wrapping, labelling, packaging, loading, and unloading.

    Individual Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and steady operation of the production packing lines throughout the shift.
  • Keep assigned stations running and clear.
  • Report defects or quality issues.
  • Adhere to targets and ensure your part in the production process is maintained.
