ITS Property Maintenance are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Electrician to work on a long-term social housing maintenance contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, fault finding, and EICR testing in tenanted and void domestic properties across SO and SP Postcodes
- You must a full UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be supplied for this role

Key elements of the role and your responsibilities
You will be working in Southern Hampshire and West WiltshireHere you will be focused on day to day occupied repairs and maintenance of social housing properties for a large Housing AssociationFor this role you should be able to demonstrate a core skilled trade of Electrical Maintenance and the ability to undertake a range Electrical duties including :Electrical fault diagnosis and repairCarrying out EICRs and issuing reportsRewiring, fuse board changes, and remedial worksSmoke alarm and extractor fan installationsEnsuring compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)Maintaining accurate records and certificatesProviding excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholdersAdhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including BS 7671 and internal policies, while ensuring appropriate PPE and tools are used at all timesCarry out safe and compliant electrical repairs and installations, prioritizing first-time fixes and high standards of workmanshipDiagnose and rectify faults across domestic electrical systems, including full and partial rewires, in accordance with company and industry standardsCommunicate effectively with residents and colleagues to keep all parties informed of job progress and outcomes. Escalate complex issues when needed for further assessmentSupport the planned works team by completing full electrical upgrades in kitchens, bathrooms, or entire properties-both occupied and voidWhat you need to bring to the role as the successful applicant to the role
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 / 2357)18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Testing & InspectionFull UK driving licenceExperience working in social housing or domestic maintenanceOwn tools (specialist equipment will be provided)Participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota, attending urgent callouts as requiredHours and Pay
