Job description

We are looking to appoint a full-time (36 hours 40 minutes per week) e xperienced administrator to join our small but busy Tutorial Office team. This is a forward-facing role involving direct communication with students, Fellows and colleagues within the College and beyond.

Alongside offering appropriate administrative guidance to Emmanuel students, the postholder will provide support across a range of tasks that underpin students’ academic journey, and the pastoral care provided. With excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, you will thrive in a role with varied administrative responsibilities. To be considered for the role it is essential you can approach work flexibly, be adaptive to change and contribute at both personal and team level to the service provided by the Tutorial Office. With the aim of building strong relationships with colleagues, you will be able to work collaboratively and manage your own workload effectively remaining calm under pressure. The ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in carrying out this role is essential.

Emmanuel College, affectionately known as ‘Emma’, is set in extensive historical, yet peaceful grounds within central Cambridge.
