Principal Engineer

Venn Group is working with a large NHS Trust to recruit a two highly experienced Principal Engineers to successfully support their growing teams, implement new strategies and lead on compliance.

Hourly rate : £39.92 through an umbrella company

Duration : 6 months initially

Location : South East

The successful candidate will :

• Support the ongoing development of robust Safe Systems of Work (including Standard Operational Procedures) for all major M&E disciplines and coordinate and act as the AP / RP lead relevant specialist areas
• Help the operational lead develop the maintenance programme to work in parallel with the AP structure to ensure compliant maintenance and PPM regimes along with accurate reporting
• Provide advice as required on the engineering elements associated with business case preparation and submissions
• Be responsible for implementation of a range of new policies and working with the estates and buildings teams to review policies as required
• Prepare technical and contractual briefing documents for capital and revenue works to ensure works can be undertaken in a safe manner and with as limited operational disruption as required
• Provide advice and guidance on highly complex engineering issues. This must include recommended solutions as well as fault finding issues and root causes
