Are you an experienced Quality Engineer ready to lead supplier excellence across the aerospace supply chain? We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineerto drive supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across UK sites. This is a high-impact, field-based role for someone with strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits (AS9100, APQP, special processes, etc.) to assess compliance and process capability.
- Support MRB activities and lead root cause analysis with effective corrective action implementation.
- Facilitate and verify First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards.
- Drive supplier quality improvement through lean, Six Sigma, and PFMEA practices.
- Deliver clear reporting on supplier performance, quality issues, and project milestones.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
What You Bring
8+ yearsin aerospace manufacturing quality engineering.Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, FAA / EAR / ITAR regulations, and GD&T.5–8 yearsof experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections.Proven experience leading supplier audits and corrective action initiatives.Proficiency in quality engineering tools : APQP, PPAP, RCCA, SPC, FMEA, etc.Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel UK-wide.Preferred Qualifications
