Project Manager Responsibilities :
- Manage established sites
- Review H&S paperwork
- Identify engineering discrepancies
- Plan and oversee projects
- Schedule project timelines
- Perform method statements and risk assessments
- Manage project administration and site documentation
- Meet budgetary goals
- Regularly report to senior management
- Track project performance
- Organise site resources (labour, materials, subcontractors)
- Ensure suitability of plant & machinery
- Oversee Supervisor and Foreman performance
- Coach and support new hires
- Organise employee training
- Ensure trained personnel for tasks
- Competent in closing out Health & Safety Files
Qualifications for Project Manager :
HND / HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalentEssential CSCS Gold CardEssential SSSTS or SMSTS certificationPreferable NRSWA certificationCompetency with MS ProjectProject Manager Specification :
Professional, self-motivated attitudeProficiency in contract documents and relationshipsAbility to teach and develop team membersStrong Health and Safety leadershipEffective time management and organisationSolid understanding of Engineering principlesKnowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislationFull clean driving licenceBenefits of Project Manager Role :
