This professional should have substantial experience in fire safety design within occupied buildings and retrospective fire strategies, conduct third party review / design verification with fire safety standards and have the ability to provide fire consultancy, expert technical and management advice to our clients. Be able to create and present technical articles and thought pieces.
Responsibilities :
- Excellent understanding of UK fire safety legislation and standards
- Fire strategies and design reviews for new projects and refurbishments.
- Develop retrospective fire safety strategies
- Fire impact and optimisation analysis
- Design and specification of fire protection systems
- 3rd party review / design verification against standards
- Engage directly with clients, confidently addressing construction-related queries with relevant experience.
- Provide support to client relations, pre-construction and delivery teams across the business
- Prepare and present technical articles
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and securing new clients to support business growth.
- Onboard SME's and Consultants where required.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional accreditation (e.g., IFE, NFPA) preferredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in fire safety consultancyPossess excellent report writing and communication skills - be collaborative, creative and engagingA confident, outgoing and fun person who enjoys being part of a busy teamBenefits :
