The Role

ALS Laboratories are looking for 2 Laboratory Technician's to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques.

This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures.

Number of roles : 2

Days Per Week : 4on / 4off 9am to 9pm

Contract : Full Time and Permanent

Annual Salary : £25,834 + £2000 location allowance per annum

The day to day

  • To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
  • To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • To keep accurate records.

The Essentials

  • Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Possess excellent time management skills.
