Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and time critical delivery of Class 7 Radiopharmaceutical Containers to hospitals throughout the UK. We are recruiting in Cheshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire & London (Central & Surrounding Areas) This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as effective communication skills to liaise with customers and hospital staff. Responsibilities Safely operate a van for the delivery of time critical Class 7 Radiopharmaceutical Containers to UK hospitals. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Class 7 ADR Packaging and Radioactive Licence required, but training is available for the right candidate.
