Job description

We are seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant with expertise in UK Engineering Design - MEP, Electrical Design, and Mechanical Design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and a strong understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients and project teams to integrate sustainable design principles into engineering projects, focusing on MEP, electrical, and mechanical design elements.
Conduct energy audits and analysis to identify opportunities for energy savings and renewable energy integration.
Develop sustainability strategies and solutions that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical expertise and support for sustainable building certifications, such as BREEAM or LEED.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in sustainable design and engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Extensive experience in UK Engineering Design with a focus on MEP, Electrical Design, and Mechanical Design.

Strong knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and sustainable building practices.

Experience working on projects targeting BREEAM, LEED, or other sustainable building certifications.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex sustainability concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Day-to-day

Engage in collaborative design meetings to integrate sustainability concepts into engineering projects.

Conduct energy analysis using various software tools to evaluate building performance and inform design decisions.

Research and recommend innovative sustainable technologies and strategies.

Communicate with clients and project teams to present sustainability strategies and project updates.

Stay informed about industry developments and regulations related to sustainable design and engineering.
