Your role

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers' technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

Be part of a regional service team, providing 24 / 7 emergency cover as part of a rota.
Complete scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance at hospital sites within specified times.

What Your Day Will Look Like

Liaise with the service office and customers to plan daily and weekly visit schedules.

Work independently, using your initiative to carry out tasks.

Identify additional works such as manifold and plant installations, and complete short form tenders (quotations).

Manage stock, administration, timesheets, parts orders, quotations, and expenses.

Commission new systems as required.

Adhere to Health and Safety regulations during daily tasks.

Maintain test instruments to ensure they remain in good condition.

To succeed, you will need

An apprentice-level qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with City & Guilds parts 1 & 2.

Knowledge of compressors and vacuum pumps.

Self-motivated with a focus on high-quality work.

Competent, confident, reliable, and an empathetic communicator.

A full UK driving license.

Based at our customer center in Cornwall, working remotely and traveling to visit customers.
