Job Description
- Provide payroll services to portfolio of clients varying in size and complexity
- Process payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed)
- Process starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, RTI submissions, pension deductions etc.
- Set up PAYE scheme with HMRC and cease schemes when needed
- Act as primary contact with HMRC for all PAYE related matters
- Calculating auto enrolment pension deductions and ensuring compliance
- Uploading pension contributions and starters to appropriate pension portals
- Submit HMRC RTI information, FPS and EPS ensuring deadlines are met
- Preparation of P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations and other relevant forms as required
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer phone queries, resolve problems and provide payroll support
- Communicate with clients, other staff, Directors and the HM Revenue & Customs
- Support clients in the day to day running of payroll systems
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist (Temp) should have :
Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role.Familiarity with payroll software and accounting systems.A solid understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws in the UK.Strong numerical and analytical skills.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent organisational skills to manage deadlines effectively.J-18808-Ljbffr
