HGV Class 1 Container Drivers - Trafford Park

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for a well-established logistics company based in Trafford Park .

As part of the transport team, you'll be responsible for moving containers to and from ports and distribution centres across the UK.

Job Details

Days : Monday to Friday

Start Times : 0630

Shifts : 10 to 13 hours depending on route

Pay Rates : n \n

  • n PAYE : £17.37p / h or Umbrella : £20p / h
  • Rates including Holiday Pay

Your Duties Will Include

n \n

  • Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles to complete UK-wide container deliveries
  • Transporting containers to / from major UK ports
  • Delivering to RDCs across the network
  • Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

    Requirements

    n \n

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Previous container work experience is essential \n
  • A valid dock card is required
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
