Job description

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking a KS1 (Early Years Curriculum) SEND Class Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Job Type : Full-time, Fixed Term (1 Year – Maternity Cover)

Your Role : As our new KS1 (Early Years Curriculum) SEND Class Teacher, you will :

  • Motivate, encourage, and inspire children to develop independence and self-esteem.
  • Deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences that capture children’s imaginations and innate sense of fun.
  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Set high expectations for achievement and behaviour while celebrating individual successes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to enhance the learning experience and promote a positive school culture.

  • Can motivate, encourage, and inspire children while promoting their independence.
  • Has the ability to engage and enthuse children through creative and purposeful learning experiences.
  • Is passionate about improving life chances for all children and is committed to their welfare.

  • Brings a positive, happy, and friendly demeanour to the classroom.
