Job description

Our client is looking for Web Applications Development Manager to join their fast-paced and successful company specialising in advanced monitoring systems. We're dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and working on fascinating, cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Development Team : Oversee the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications.
  • Product / Delivery Roadmap : Responsible for defining the product road map and aligning software delivery with changing business needs.
  • Product Backlog and Planning : Manage the product backlog, including task estimation, prioritisation, and planning for releases.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a small development team, providing technical guidance, career development, and support.
  • Project Management : Manage project plans and ensure commitments are met in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications :

  • Prior experience as a Development Manager or similar leadership role in software development.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with .NET and C# , or similar languages. Experience with Blazor (Server-Side Rendering, WebAssembly, Progressive Web Apps). Experience with MAUI and MAUI Blazor Hybrid for building cross-platform apps. Strong understanding of JavaScript , HTML5 , CSS , and frameworks like Bootstrap . Familiarity with NET Core , ASP.NET MVC , and building Restful Web Services . Experience with Entity Framework Core , Migrations , and Identity Framework . Knowledge of SignalR , WebSockets , and Protobuf . Experience with databases such as Postgres , SQL Server , or similar. Experience with Docker , Nginx , and deployment to local machines and Linux environments.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems creatively and simply.

    • Desirable Skills & Experience :

  • UI Libraries : Experience with Radzen Blazor or other UI libraries such as Blazorise or Mud Blazor .
  • RF Experience : Experience in Radio Frequency or related fields.
  • Agile Development : Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like Jira and Git .
