Senior PHP Developer Needed in London

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the cutting edge of financial technology with a team leading the development of the investment banking industry.

Issufy is a fast-growing and innovative financial technology startup operating in the investment banking space with a unique and sophisticated product base. We work with some of the largest banks and asset managers worldwide. Based in Central London (City area), our team comprises leading investment bankers, investment professionals, and a top technology team, including our Head of Technology, who previously founded and managed a successful tech company.

As a Senior Developer, you will lead the software development process from specification to deployment, working with a tech stack based on PHP, Java, JavaScript, and SQL. We are committed to a technology-driven environment, offering you the chance to work closely with senior leadership and influence our technical direction.

Ideal Candidate Requirements :

  • Solid experience (5+ years) with PHP and modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or Zend
  • At least 3 years of full-stack JavaScript development experience
  • In-depth experience with at least one JavaScript framework (AngularJS or ReactJS)
  • Expertise in front-end skills, specifically HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency in core JavaScript
  • Experience in designing responsive websites
  • Experience with LAMP stack
  • Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit), application, and stress testing
  • Experience working within SCRUM / Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of GIT version control
  • Examples of previous work and published code
