Job description

Charge Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) – Nursing home in Ayr, Ayrshire- up to £53,000 per annum

Position : Charge Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD )
Location : Ayr, Ayrshire
Care Categories : Dementia / Alzheimer’s and general elderly care
Salary : £ – £ p / h – up to £53,000 per annum The actual rate of pay will be within these advertised bandings and will be dependent on your ability to demonstrate your competence during the interview.
Hours : Full-time 44 hours per week
Shifts : Days or Nights
Contract Type : Permanent

Requirements :

Valid and clear NMC pin registration number ( RGN / RMN / RNLD )

Full eligibility to work and live in the UK

Genuine passion for elderly care and a desire to make a difference

The role as a Charge Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) :

Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team

Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team

The ability of supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance

Passion about providing excellent care and supporting the residents and their families
