PURCHASING ASSISTANT - HEALTHCARE

In this role, you will be a multi-skilled member of the team. Reporting into the Demand Planner you will work closely with all departments within the business including Buying, Digital Merchandising, Marketing, Warehouse, Finance and Customer Service and will build strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Demand Planner to maintain a stock availability target of 99%
- Track orders placed to ensure timely deliveries
- Run monthly / weekly reports to support the Demand Planner and Buyers
- Resolve invoice queries quickly by working closely with finance team and suppliers
- Work up to managing UK supplier orders and being able to cover if the Demand Planner is on holiday
- Manage Customer Service team queries / customer / product issues including liaising with relevant suppliers
- Work with the Warehouse team, aiming to avoid challenges, but helping to solve them if they occur
- Accurately load new product information and make any necessary updates to product information in our back-office systems, Orderwise and Magento
- Be a key player in our new lines launch process by ensuring new products are set up correctly and in a timely manner
- Support the team and wider business with ad-hoc tasks and projects when required
