Job description

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Southend, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

You will receive a dealership £2,500 welcome bonus. This bonus will be split into three payments :

1st payment - £1,000 after 30 days in post
2nd payment - £500 after 90 days in post
3rd payment - £1,000 after 6 months in post

Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities will include :

Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards

Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs / Replacements

Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics

Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s

Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements :

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance

Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements :

Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Hybrid / EV Qualifications

Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £32,000 to £40,000 DOE. Opportunity to earn £60,000+. Time save Bonus paid weekly. Great benefits package.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday : 8am - 5pm

Saturdays 1 in 4 : 8am - 2pm
