Account Exeutive -SMB

Location : Remote, with fortnightly in-person meetings in London and occasional client visits

As an Account Executive, you’ll be on the frontlines of growth—showing companies that vetting doesn’t have to be slow, complicated, or error-prone. You’ll be pitching a product with a clear painkiller value, into industries where every day lost in onboarding equals lost revenue.

This is your chance to own the sales cycle, convert leads into long-term customers, and influence how the UK’s most compliance-sensitive industries build their workforces.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate & Convert Leads – Build and manage a pipeline of warm and outbound-qualified leads across target sectors.
  • Sell the Full Story – Conduct discovery, deliver compelling demos, overcome objections, and close annual or multi-year contracts.
  • Pitch with Purpose – Tailor proposals to show operational, compliance, and cost-saving wins.
  • Work Cross-Functionally – Feed insights back to product and collaborate with marketing on campaigns.
  • Own Your Process – Keep CRM up to date (we use HubSpot), document objections, and share learnings.
  • Exceed Targets – Consistently hit revenue goals while helping us refine our sales playbook.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B IT sales experience. Ideally, in SaaS and experience with working with these verticals would be preferable : Compliance, HRTech, or Workflow solutions.
  • Proven ability to close deals with SMEs or mid-market businesses.
  • Consultative selling style with strong discovery and objection-handling skills.
  • New Business mindset, finding innovative ways to present to new customers.
  • Experience working with operations, HR, or compliance teams.
  • Comfortable managing a pipeline, qualifying fast, and working toward monthly / quarterly goal.
