Job description

Wayman Education is looking for a Year 4 teacher in Carterhatch, Enfield! This is an opportunity to work within a Good primary school in Carterhatch, Enfield, North London. Year 4 Teacher responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 4
  • Assess and evaluate students regularly
  • Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment
  • Monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to parents and senior staff
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

    • Year 4 Teacher requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 4 students in a UK Primary school
  • A strong understanding of the current National Curriculum for Year 4
  • Ability to create a stimulating and active learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisation and time-management skills to ensure efficient lesson planning and delivery
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
