Health and Safety Advisor Glasgow | Circa £50,000 + Car + Excellent Benefits Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a major civil engineering company to recruit a Group Health and Safety Manager. The company turnover circa £60m and are growing rapidly. They work on a number of major new building projects covering over 50 sites in Scotland. This organisation is looking for an individual that can ensure that the business continues its track record of successful delivery of high-profile projects. Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include : Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation Visiting site and engaging with site teams, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performanceThe successful Health and Safety Advisor will have : Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, civil engineering or utilities A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and ideally member of IOSH Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholdersThe Health and Safety Advisor position will require an individual who is read...
