Benefits :

  • Salary : Up to £45,000 per annum DOE
  • 34 Days Holiday : Including Bank Holidays and the day after Boxing Day
  • Hours of work : 09 : 00am to 17 : 00pm (1 hour lunch break)

  • Role & Responsibilities :

  • Drafting simple and trust-based Wills and advising clients accordingly
  • Preparing and registering General, Enduring, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Advising on and preparing Deeds of Variation and other estate planning documents
  • Managing your own probate files, including obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
  • Assisting with the registration and administration of Trusts and associated Deeds
  • Supporting complex matters such as taxable estates or trust arrangements, under supervision
  • Attending client meetings, preparing thorough attendance notes, and delivering both written and verbal advice
  • Working to an active file target of approximately 80 matters, with a financial target of £150,000-£170,000
  • Collaborating within the wider team, with a focus on development and client retention
  • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Private Client work (Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Trusts)
  • Experienced Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Advanced Paralegal
  • Able to manage own caseload with minimal supervision and assist on complex matters
  • Personable, well-presented, and organised with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a true team player
  • Motivated to build a client base and grow within the team over time
