An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join a well-established organisation on a fixed-term basis, supporting a business undergoing significant organisational change.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in guiding leaders through complex employee relations matters, with a strong focus on organisational design (OD) and transformation activity. You’ll work as part of an integrated ER function and be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and case management on complex ER issues including redundancies, restructures, and TUPE.

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, offering sound, pragmatic ER advice.
  • Ensure all processes align with employment law, internal policies, and best practice.
  • Support the delivery of organisational change programmes, acting as a key HR partner throughout.
  • Communicate effectively and sensitively in challenging situations, supporting conflict resolution where needed.

About You

  • Proven track record in managing complex ER casework, particularly within change programmes.
  • Must have hands-on experience delivering end-to-end redundancy programmes, both individual and collective.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and the practical application of HR policy.
  • Confident working with and influencing senior leaders and managers.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and mediation skills.
  • Able to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at a pivotal time of change. Part-time applicants are welcome.
